RESPECTED Males & Females STOP uploading
PICTURES online
======================================
Assalamualaikum warahmatullah my respected
brothers & sisters...a humble appeal to all of you -
please do not upload your pictures uncovered, over
Facebook or any other sites because exposing
yourself to the world is prohibited in EVERY religion,
no matter what faith you have. kindly look at the
references below :
IN ISLAM:
1. "And tell the believing women to reduce [some]
of their vision and guard their private parts and not
expose their adornment except that which
[necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion
of] their headcovers over their chests and not
expose their adornment" [Surat An-Nūr (The Light)
- ﺳﻮﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﻨﻮﺭ C.24 V.31]
2. "O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters
and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks
(veils) all over their bodies (i.e.screen themselves
completely except the eyes or one eye to see the
way). That will be better, that they should be
known (as free respectable women) so as not to
be annoyed. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most
Merciful. " [ Surat Al-'Aĥzāb (The Combined
Forces) - ﺳﻮﺭﺓ ﺍﻷﺣﺰﺍﺏ C.33 V.59]
IN CHRISTIANITY:
3. "but any woman who prays or prophesies with
her head unveiled disgraces her head—it is one and
the same thing as having her head shaved. For if a
woman will not veil herself, then she should cut off
her hair; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to
have her hair cut off or to be shaved, she should
wear a veil." [Corinthians 11 (King James Version)
V.5-6]
IN HINDUISM:
4. "When Brahma has made you a woman, you
should lower your gaze and should not look up.
You should put your feet together and you should
not reveal what the garment and the veil
conceals." [Reg Ved Book 8,Ch 33,Verse 19]
5. "When Purshuram comes, Rama tells his wife
Sita that “He is our elder, please lower your gaze,
and put on the veil." [Mahavira Charitra Act 2 Page
71]
Every one of us knows that all precious things are
to be kept safe, hidden and covered just like
diamonds (which are hidden beneath the layers of
the earth) and who can be more precious than a
woman who is a mother, a sister, a wife or a
daughter - should she not then save herself so that
her dignity and preciousness is not stolen away?
This prohibition is more strict in Islam because
Islam considers women to be precious like pearls
and diamonds who need to be kept safe and
hidden from the lustful eyes of the world and not to
be served as eye candies.
Furthermore not only Face Book, your modesty and
preciousness should be hidden and safe like
diamond even in daily practical life.
