There is more than 1.7million Palestinians living in Gaza,in the biggest open prison in the world, based on the siege by Israeli and Egyptians and the deliberate silence of the whole world.
This is the biggest open prison that has ever existed in humanity in history on earth. and the ongoing assault almost every year from Israel on the Palestinians continues while the whole world watches in silence and neglect.regardless the various warnings raised by the human rights council of the U.N of the catastrophic situation in the Gaza strip.
The whole media turns a blind eye and fails to highlight or broadcast this news, 'they are just Palestinians , who cares about them their dignity is trampled under foot from all parties, and behold this represents the ugly cowardly world which we are living in nowadays.
All lines of life that the Palestinians n Gaza try to establish for themselves by digging tunnels to bring them the basic sustenance have been destroyed by the israeli from one side and the traitor Egyptian army from the other side in Sinai.
These are the same tunnels i passed through when going to Gaza in 2011..there were more than 1370 tunnels at one time, almost all destroyed now..
In addition to this the Egyptian Rafaa crossing is almost closed permanently by the Egyptian army and Israel from the other side have shut down all air, sea and ground ports and waterways that link Gaza to any waterways
When I wanted once to cross from Israel into Gaza through the Erez crossing, one of the Israeli soldiers put a gun to my head and told me no one is allowed to go through the Ezra crossing except Israeli goods, which are double in price to be sold in Gaza, which no Palestinian in Gaza can afford , on the other hand the Israeli prevents any export of any goods from the Gaza strip,
Day by day thanks to the tyrant Israeli Gaza's population is living in poverty and misery and desperation is growing.
The unemployment rate increased in the sector and 80% of the population is living below the poverty line on less than two dollars a day, which is impossible to live on and the death rate is rising,90% of the water is contaminated People in Gaza live on humanitarian aid provided by the United Nations and this is insulting to a to noble people with a history that extends for thousands of years.
This harassment and inhuman blockade is primarily designed by Israel to make sure that Gaza's economy is always "on the verge of collapse,"
which was announced by some Israeli officials openly and publicly in front of the U.S. ambassador, but the international community turns a blind eye and stands silently in front of the political process to suffocate the Palestinians.
