A very inspiring STORY...
One day a construction supervisor from 6th floor of building was
calling a worker working on the ground floor. Because of construction
noice, the worker on ground floor did not hear his supervisor calling.
To draw the attention of worker, the supervisor threw a 10 dollar note
from up which fell right around in front of the worker.
The worker saw it, picked up the 5 dollar note, put it in his pocket and
continued with his work.
Again to draw the attention of worker, the supervisor now threw 20
dollar note, the worker did the same, picked up the 20 dollar note, put
it in his pocket and started doing his job.
The supervisor was getting a little frustrated so thought the only way
to draw attention of the worker, is to throw something a little hard.
The supervisor picked up a small stone and threw it at the worker. The
stone hit exactly the target (workers head). The method was intact
and successful, the worker looked up upon getting hit and the
supervisor continued to to communicate with the worker.
This story is an very important lesson;
This reflects with our life. In the same way the supervisor wanted to
converse with his worker, Allah wants to communicate with us, but we
are so busy in our worldly chores that we forget Allah is waiting. The 5
dollar; Allah also gives and blesses us with small gifts, we become so
blind and greedy we just keep it without seeing from where we got it
from?
However, (20 dollar) Allah continues to give us more, and we are the
same. Just keep the gifts without seeing from where it come and more
importantly without thanking (praising) Allah. We just say we are
LUCKY.
Its is after getting hit by the small stone then we call upon Allah. The
small stone which we call PROBLEMS makes us look up and
communicate with Allah.
Brothers and sisters don't wait to get hit, every time we get gift, we
should thank Allah immediately; Out beloved Prophet (peace be upon
him) said, Remember Allah during times of ease and He will remember
you in times of difficulty (Tirmidhi).
Talk to Allah, every moment, without a doubt that will be your best
conversation with no regrets.
Spread the knowledge so it will be Sadqa-e-Jaaria (everlasting charity)
for you and for me... In'Shaa'Allah.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever directs
someone to a good, then he will have the reward equal to the doer of
the action.” [Muslim 1893]
O Allah remove and distance our worries and problems. O Allah help us repay our loans and debts. O Allah cure our illnesses and the illnesses of our families and friends. O Allah safeguard our families, wealth and honour. O Allah, help and assist all of the Muslims, the world over. AMEEN
