VERSE & REFLECTION OF THE DAY

VERSE & REFLECTION OF THE DAY smile emoticon

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, ‘When is the help of Allah?’ Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.”
[Surat Al Baqarah 2: Ayaah 214]

We turn to Allah for help when our foundations are shaking, only to learn that it is Allah who is shaking them. Allah shakes our soul and being and cleanses us of false attachments. It is not to punish us or because he is a creator who is selfish and wants us to Himself - astaghfirullah!

IT IS BECAUSE HE WANTS TO GIVE THE BEST GIFT THIS DUNIYA HAS TO OFFER

And the best gift this world has to offer is, the taste of real sweetness of eeman. The feeling of going down in sujood and not wanting to lift your head.
The feeling of crying like a baby to Allah knowing he is hearing everything you say and things you have left unsaid.
We need to realize money, beautiful spouse, jewels, education, children and status are not greatest gifts of this duniya, they are gifts and a blessing but not the BEST ONES. No matter how poor you are if you feel the beauty of sujood that we all feel "especially during hardships" you will know what the real gifts of this life are.

{Surat An Naml 27: Ayaah 62}

TRIVIA smile emoticon
Let me know in the comments below the percentage of your Khushoo or concentration during worship in times of ease and in times of hardship.
My percentage is 60% to 110% out of 100%
I do not love my hardships and no Muslimah should love hardships. We need to expect good and ease from Allah and always try to get out of our hardships instead of accepting them. We need to get out through "action" and "dua". We should ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST EXPECTATIONS FROM ALLAH! and you will see that Allah will make all your expectations come true. So going back to the main point. I do not love hardships but I love the state, concentration, amount and gravity of ibadah I perform and "feel" during my hardships.

For good times - ALHUMDULILLAH
For "so called bad times" (so called because both good and bad times are good for a muslim) - ALHUMDULILLAH ALA KULLI HAAL

The Prophet ﷺ said, “No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that,”
[Bukhari]

CONCLUSION:
Love Allah and have faith in Him. Anyone can worship and be grateful during happy times but the real test of Eeman begins when calamity strikes. Also no one wants to be from the people mentioned in the Ayah Below. And no one wants to lose their duniya and hereafter.

And of the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss.”
{ Surat Al Haj 22: Ayaah 11}

ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (SWT) HAS THAT ABILITY.
Please do not ever forget this and neither let anyone else let you believe "oh thats not going to happen" or "oh thats very unrealistic dua".

The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.”
